To connect and complete an Online Proctored assessment with Testgrid, you will need:
- A PC or Mac desktop computer or laptop (only). Chromebooks, tablets and smartphones cannot be used to take a proctored assessment.
- A stable internet connection: minimum 1Mbps upload & download speeds.
- A working microphone: often built into web cameras.
- A compatible web browser: Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox (recommended), Microsoft Edge or Safari
- To ensure your device software is up to date.

You will need to download and Install the Guardian browser before you take your proctored assessment.
Please note the following equipment is NOT supported
- Google Chromebooks
- Tablets (Nexus, iPad, Tab, Note, etc.)
- Smartphones
- Linux operating systems
- Windows 10 in S mode or Surface RT
- No running inside a virtual machine. You will be asked to reconnect using your host operating system to take your assessment.
