Technical Requirements for Online Proctored Assessments


General technical requirements 

To connect and complete an Online Proctored assessment with Testgrid, you will need: 

  • PC or Mac desktop computer or laptop (only). Chromebooks, tablets and smartphones cannot be used to take a proctored assessment. 
  • stable internet connectionminimum 1Mbps upload & download speeds. 
  • working microphone: often built into web cameras. 
  • compatible web browser: Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox (recommended), Microsoft Edge or Safari  
  • To ensure your device software is up to date.

You will need to download and Install the Guardian browser before you take your proctored assessment.
