Before you log in to start your assessment, we recommend you do a quick review to check you have completed the necessary and recommended preparation tasks to ensure you have a stress-free experience!
Before the assessment day:
- Review all instructions on your email invitation, including permitted resources.
- Review the preparation articles here and complete an assessment demo Online assessment (optional)
- Check your equipment meets the requirements or review here.
- Create your Testgrid account: you’ll need your username (email) and password details to log in to the Testgrid platform
- Schedule your proctored assessment ensure you have booked and diarised your proctored assessment date and time.

On the assessment day:
- Environment: Ensure you have a quiet and uninterrupted space to complete your assessment. Clear your workspace of any items that are not required or permitted.
- Have your ID ready: You will need one form of government-issued photo ID (Driver’s license, Passport, Military ID, Student ID) to be checked by the proctor.
- Log in to Testgrid to start the assessment 5 minutes prior to the scheduled time. After connecting with the proctor, you’ll be promoted to complete a series of checks will before the assessment begins.

There are two types of Online Proctoring: live and automated. This video provides a helpful overview of the differences between the types.
Note: If your assessment requires you to schedule (or reschedule) 72-hours in advance, you are most likely joining a live proctoring session. However, don’t worry if you’re unsure which one applies, the system will guide you!
