Check your technical set up – Vieple


To connect and complete a video interview using Viepleyou will need:  

  1.  A PC or Mac OR a Mobile device (iOS or Android) inbuilt camera or webcam, and a stable internet connection.
  2.  A compatible web browser:  
    • For desktop PC or Mac – use Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge or Safari  
    • For Apple iOS mobile devices (phone or tablet) – use Safari  
    • For Android mobile devices (phone or tablet) – use Google Chrome 
     3. To ensure your device software is up to date.  
     4. To enable Camera and microphone permissions (see instructions below) 
     5. Turn off any VPN software or private relay network if it is enabled, and 
     6. Check you are using a personal device and not a work provided device.

For the best experience, we recommend using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browsers.
For mobile devices we recommend using the native device browser (listed above). 


Mobile devices - additional requirements 

Using a mobile is a great alternative if you don't have access to a computer with a camera and microphone.  


To complete your video interview using an iOS mobile device: 

  • Ensure your device is using software version 12.2 or later 
  • Check Low Power Mode is set to Off: 
  • Enable Camera and Microphone permissions (see process below)  

 

To complete your video interview using an Android Phone or Tablet 

  • Ensure your device software is up to date  
  • Check any Low Power or Battery saving settings are set to Off: 
  • Enable Camera and Microphone permissions (see process below)

For mobile devices: From your iOS or Android mobile device, go to Vieple (or type live.vieple.com) from your Google Chrome or Safari web browser. 

From the Vieple sign in page in your browser> Tap on theicon in the bottom-left corner > Tap on the three dots in the bottom-right to open the Page Menu > Scroll down to ‘Camera’ and ‘Microphone’ settings > set to ‘Allow’ for both.
