Technical Set up - Testgrid Scheduler
To book and attend a virtual interview or testing appointment using Testgrid Scheduler, you will need:
- A PC or Mac OR a Mobile device (iOS or Android) with inbuilt camera (or webcam) and a stable internet connection.
- A compatible web browser:
- For desktop PC or Mac – use Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge or Safari
- For Apple iOS mobile devices (phone or tablet) – use Safari
- For Android mobile devices (phone or tablet) – use Google Chrome
- To ensure your device software is up to date.
- To enable Camera and microphone permissions (see instructions below)
- Turn off any VPN software or private relay network if it is enabled, and
- Check you are using a personal device and not a work provided device.
For the best experience, we recommend using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browsers. For mobile devices we recommend using the native device browser (listed above).
Mobile devices - additional requirements
If you are attending your video appointment using a mobile device, please ensure you check the following set up to avoid any technical issues at your scheduled appointment time.
To attend your interview appointment using an iOS mobile device, you will need to
- Ensure your device is using software version 12.2 or later.
- Check Low Power Mode is set to Off:
- Enable Camera and Microphone permissions (see process below)
To complete your video interview using an Android Phone or Tablet, you will need to
- Ensure your device software is up to date
- Check any Low Power or Battery saving settings are set to Off:
- Enable Camera and Microphone permissions (see process below)
